Growing the Seed of Trust…
As sure as Spring is dawning in Georgia, so is a new season coming forth in my heart. The past two years have been an incredible adventure in my journey with the Lord. He has opened my eyes to his power is such ways that I know I will never be the same. But what C.S. Lewis says is so true; there are far, far better things ahead than any we leave behind.” As I sat down to write this blog, I felt a renewed sense of Hope and expectation come alive in my heart. This hope is not founded upon what I see with my natural eyes. It is founded upon a deeply embedded seed of Promise that God placed in my heart long ago. You see, I have been on a journey of trust. What person in life is ever NOT on a journey of trust? Every person ,whether young or old places their trust in one thing or another. I have found the ONe THING in life that defeats all the odds. I have found the ONE HOPE that truly never disappoints. Jesus Christ is leading me on a life-long journey of trusting Him. In this journey of trust I have found a peace that I didn’t know was possible. I have found a joy that wraps my heart with such security that I know God is REAL AND ALIVE.
So today Lord, I surrender my heart to your ways, plans, and dreams. I Open up my heart and let the light of your Son shine upon the seed of trust that you planted in my life. I say come and tend, nurture, and mature the work that You have started in my life and Heart. AMEN.
